– Austin, (my 16 year old grandson), is having test for low energy, which he
has never had before.

– The Bottlinger Family, My former boss, she was 70 and they found her dead.

– Praise!!! – Thanks for your prayers about my daughter Jennifer. She is to
be a new math teacher at Naaman Forest High school in the Fall.

– Pat Ivey – Talked to her yesterday, (Sat, 4/25/09). She has had a really
rough spring with allergies and bronchial issues.

prognosis on her hip is not good. They are still trying to figure out the
problem and what to do about it.

Pray for Charley's 83 year old
sister, Dorothy had to have second surgery for broken vertebrae in her
back. Unwilling to go to an assisted living facility.

Richard & Evelyn Alford –
Prayer of Thanksgiving – My Dad, Gordon Alford, is in need of a
heart-procedure but at 88 years old was in no condition for the procedure.
A week ago the Doctor performed a preliminary temporary valve enlargement.
This week his skin color returned, his breathing is back to normal and he
doesn’t need his hoveround or even a cane for mobility.

Misty Womack, my granddaughter is having heart problems. She has to see a
specialist. Big family history of heart problems.

Another friend in hospital under-going surgery on a blocked bowel –
concerned because she’s 86.

Praise!! Our little grandson, Cody James, was baptized in the 10:45 service.

Praise!! Our friend, Sabrina May, who had the double lung transplant in
February, is feeling very well and was driving her car yesterday.

Praise!! Dan’s knee is healing well.

Continue to pray for my Mom. Pray for my granddaughter, Dani, a senior in
high school, that she will make good decisions in her future.

My Dad & Step Mom (Wayne & Pat Wright) have been caught in the wild fires in
Wichita Falls. They have lost everything. Please pray for them & others
who have lost their homes. At 77 they are not able to re-build. Many
decisions must be made about their future.

– Deb appointment tomorrow with the back doctor – she is having real
problems walking and her legs are going numb.

boss Nancy & husband need prayer. He has metastatic cancer prostate, lymph
and bone. He has lots of pain.

see eye surgeon Apr 23 – then surgery later.
Richard Alford -
My dad, Gordon Alford, will be
undergoing a heart valve procedure Wednesday at Medical City. At the age of
88 please pray the LORD is with the surgeons as they perform their duties.

second son to die violently.

Week of March 29, 2009
Pat Hill
– Prayer for:
· Burl to come to church some day.
· Betty Rupp has had breast cancer many years ago. She had a
lumpectomy and radiation. She also had malignant melanoma and had a groin
dissection and skin graft. She is now having swelling all over her body.
She did have lymphedema.
· Lilla Zachary, Her arthritis is so bad that she can barely get
around. All of us were operating room nurses. She is now on a cane, and we
are afraid that she may fall.
· Leona Calverley. Her husband had had a gastrectomy in the 60's.
He is having problems, and is vomiting all the time. He is down to 120
lbs. They have found a doctor who can operate and make pouch so he can hold
food. This group when we went out to lunch yesterday stated that they
really would love for everyone to pray for them. We have been friends for
39 years.
· Praise that I passed the PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
class. Thank you Jesus!

Carol & I will be investigating what my options are this week.

condition on Tuesday for a medical procedure to replace his aortic valve in
his heart. He is 88 years old.
